Background

Robert L. Elliott graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1970, and has been practicing as a trial lawyer in private practice in Wisconsin and the surrounding states since that time. He has practiced on behalf of individual and corporate plaintiffs before the Wisconsin Circuit Courts, Courts of Appeal, the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the U. S. District Courts in Wisconsin and Illinois, the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court .

Mr. Elliott has tried to a verdict or decision in excess of 300 cases in the areas of personal injury, sexual abuse, aggravated commercial disputes, employment law, admiralty and maritime, and insurance coverage disputes. He was a Municipal Judge for 15 years and is the current Chairperson of the State Bar Rules of Negotiation Forum.
